Join Us in Supporting Common Ground: Healing Our Planet Through Regenerative Agriculture

Friday December 1st at the Glenwood Arts - Tickets Here  We're working to get a panel of guests for a Q&A after the showing.

We have some exciting news to share! Common Ground, the highly anticipated sequel to Josh and Rebecca Tickell’s groundbreaking documentary Kiss the Ground, is rolling out to theaters across the country. This new impactful documentary sheds light on the hidden truths of our broken food system and its connection to climate change and community health. Perhaps, most importantly, the film offers hope and a pathway toward collective healing through regenerative agriculture.

The documentary features renowned figures such as Rosario Dawson, Laura Dern, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Jason Momoa, Ian Somerhalder and farmer Gabe Brown. Their involvement reflects the urgency and importance of the message that Common Ground delivers.

Why It Matters

Kiss the Ground reached over a billion people globally and even spurred the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) to invest billions into soil health initiatives. Now, Common Ground continues this mission by spotlighting the unjust practices that have shaped our current farm system. Moreover, the Tickells and the Common Ground team have a goal of catalyzing systems change so that over 100M acres of land in the United States is healed through regenerative principles.

The film introduces us to a remarkable movement of white, black, and indigenous farmers who are pioneering regenerative models of agriculture. These methods have the potential to not only combat climate change but also improve our health and stabilize the economy. Common Ground shows us that by working together, we can create a healthier future for ourselves and the generations to come.

This is why the Tickells, along with their whole team at Big Picture Ranch, have worked for 10 years to make Kiss the Ground and now Common Ground – as well as making the films available to all schools, colleges and churches worldwide.
